Filing off the serial numbers – your fanfiction to publication

I’ve written another in my occasional series on “fanfiction to publication” over at the SubRosa Writer blog.

In Filing off the Serial Numbers I consider the three main considerations involved in converting your fanfiction to original fiction for publication – and how I don’t think you can or should get away with just changing the names!! Not “if you care about offering quality, well-crafted, rewarding, value-for-money fiction to readers – hopefully for many years to come”.

Please feel free to comment and share your feelings – I’m enjoying writing this series a lot!
